Methyl salicylate is a counterirritant used for the temporary relief of localized muscle and joint pain.
Muscle soreness, strains, sprains, arthritis, simple backache, muscle stiffness, and more.
Use only as directed by licensed prescriber. Prescribers determine suitability based on individual patient needs, clinical assessment, and risk-benefit considerations.

Apply Xiclofen™ Ointment exactly where you need it - on painful joints, muscles, and tendons.
Reduced Systemic NSAID Exposure
Cutaneous application may offer lower systemic NSAID absorption compared to oral NSAIDs.
The use of diclofenac sodium and/or methyl salicylate is contraindicated in patients with a known history of hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Systemic absorption may still occur; consider total NSAID exposure. Use with caution in patients with gastrointestinal, renal, cardiovascular, or bleeding disorders
